Shariq Siddiqui is an Indiana based attorney and certified mediator. He received his Bachelors degree from the University of Indianapolis, his Masters in Philanthropy and Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Indiana University. He is currently completing his Ph.D. in Philanthropy from Indiana University. He is an author of numerous articles on the nonprofit sector and philanthropy. Mr. Siddiqui has served the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office and Indiana Civil Rights Commission prior to being employed as ISNA Director of Fundraising and Community Development. Upon leaving ISNA, Mr. Siddiqui served as Executive Director of the Muslim Alliance of Indiana. He currently serves as Director of Legal Services at the Julian Center.
Mr. Siddiqui serves on the boards of Spirit and Place Festival, Muslim Alliance of Indiana, ObatHelpers, Center for Interfaith Cooperation, Heartland Pro Bono Council and a number of other Indiana civic organizations. In 2009, Mr. Siddiqui was selected by the Indianapolis Bar Association to be one of 25 members of its Bar Leadership Series. In 2010, Mr. Siddiqui was selected to be a member of Class 35 of the SKL Leadership Program. Mr. Siddiqui has over 6 years experience as an attorney and over 15 years of experience in the nonprofit sector.
